Boy, what excitement. Our first LB babies are here this morning. Pretty easy birthing, cold this AM and held the little ones to my tummy till I could get the heat lamp for them. Momma was so good towards me, I have not owned her very long but she let me crawl over her and handle the little ones to help them find the milk. What an absolute joy.

Congratulations! Just some advice here – if you have NOT ear notched yet do it quick! Mama will not be SO friendly once she has recovered from the birthing process. Be ready to pick up a piglet & RUN after the first 24 hours.

I truly appreciate all the responses. We had 5 yesterday AM. This morning we had 8 more. A lot of trouble today, I am going to post in the Hog How To section about our troubles.
