We are located on the west side of the Cascade Mountains. Hemmi Ridge is raising animals in an organically maintained, permaculture environment. Our animals have access to forest and pasture. The Large Black Hogs eat only organic feed and spend three seasons in the forest or happily grazing our orchard grass pasture. We keep our numbers low so as to be able to focus on the health and over holistic care of them. We truly believe how animals are raised is directly related to their meat quality.
